Beyond her academic qualifications in Bio-Medical Science, Counselling and Psychology, Jo’s professional toolkit includes extensive professional development in the field of couples and family relationships, from the Bouverie Centre, Williams Road Family Therapy, Stepfamilies Australia, Relationships Australia and the Australian Psychological Society. Jo also trained in Mindful Self Compassion with the University of California San Diego.

Not so long ago, Jo could be found walking the boards of a global giant as an innovation and change leader. Since leaving the theatre of corporate life Jo has been driven by a desire to have a positive impact on the lives of others, contributing her business knowledge, evidence based approaches to relationships and wellbeing and a passion to collaborate more widely to create a safer, more inclusive world.

"I believe happiness is an attitude towards life itself. Who we really are, in the deepest sense is waiting to shine through and be present in our life everyday."

In organisational contexts Jo works with leaders dedicated to creating social impact. Jo supervises and coaches leaders to reflect on the implementation of policies, processes and education to address structural inequality and gender based stereotypes because the associated risks of violence against women and children, men’s mental health, quality of relationships at home and work impact productivity, opportunity and wellbeing.

Leaders interested in humanising workplaces with more compassionate leadership, ethical approaches to business and a desire to better understand themselves, others, and their relationships while navigating the challenges of life and the workplace may appreciate the opportunity to work with Jo to contemplate and reflect through coaching or professional supervision.
