landscape of life is seeking a Counsellor, Psychotherapist or Psychologist with an interest in couple therapy and in developing their practice as an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFT).
Located in Camberwell, Melbourne, landscape of life was established by Jo Gniel in 2008, with a focus on building human connection, helping people create healthy relationships and wellbeing in all aspects of life.
The practice provides high quality, evidence informed interventions including Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, to address relationship distress and enhance attachment security within the couple relationship.
Over the last 5 years, landscape of life has expanded and built a strong referral base. Demand for counselling services has grown and there is now capacity for an additional counsellor or psychologist to provide counselling services.
This opportunity is perfect for someone seeking to build their expertise as an EFT couples therapist in their own private practice.

We are particularly looking for people with an interest and experience in couple therapy and training in Emotionally Focused Therapy.
With a sense that therapists all want to do the best for their clients, and appreciate being given the tools required to deliver excellent service, Jo has been developing systems to facilitate client intake, assessment, and psycho-education resources.
While landscape of life has grown, it retains the sense of small team atmosphere, based at The Health and Wellbeing Studio, Camberwell. There is a very open culture of feedback, peer support and therapists are encouraged to be active in their learning.
You will manage your own clients and be provided with the tools to manage your own practice, while knowing your have the support of being part of a team of experienced couple's therapist.
- Must be a registered counsellor, psychotherapist or psychologist in Australia, with current professional indemnity insurance
- Must have completed an accredited Externship or Core Skills A or B, in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy
- Must have or be willing to become a member of ICEEFT or MCEFT
- Must have or be willing get an ABN to receive referrals
- Must be willing to use outcome informed principles in service delivery
